Mariam Wael Sabry is an Egyptian undergraduate student in IIUM, Malaysia, taking bachelor of Applied Arts and Design in faculty of Architecture . She was elected as the Students Art Representative at Modern School of Egypt 2000 in 2010, 2011, and 2012, joined Al-Bashaer Student Union (BSU) as the House Representative Coordinator in 2012-2013, headed the BSU at her school in 2013-2014, participated in the Maadi Student Union initiative as an executive coordinator, headed the Youth Engagement Project (YEP) at Waqfeya El-Maadi Community Foundation in 2013-2014, and currently volunteering as an HR manager at Fab Lab Egypt and a member of Graphic Facilitation Egypt team. She is personally interested in sustainable product/industrial design and digital fabrication.
